The Petro Jacyk Educational Foundation is pleased to announce the competition for the annual Petro Jacyk Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Ukrainian Politics, Culture and Society, to be held at The Centre for European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies (CERES) at the University of Toronto. The objective of the Fellowship is to support the most promising junior scholars studying contemporary Ukraine and thereby advance academic understanding of Ukrainian politics, culture, and society.

The Petro Jacyk Educational Foundation manages the competition and is responsible for making the award, on the basis of advice from a selection committee composed of scholars who study Ukraine. Applications are to be submitted electronically to both the Foundation at pjef@bellnet.ca  AND the Program at the University of Toronto at jacyk.program@utoronto.ca.

Petro Jacyk Visiting Scholars Program

The Petro Jacyk Visiting Scholars Program at the University of Toronto is pleased to announce its call for applications for the 2016-2017 academic year. The Program gives scholars at all stages of their careers who work on Ukraine in the social sciences and humanities, including recent PhD or kandydat nauk degreerecipients, an opportunity to come to the University of Toronto, Canada's top university, in order to conduct their research and interact with Canadian scholars of Ukraine and the region. Advanced doctoral students may also be considered.
